I have been teaching for 17 years in UK primary schools across a range of communities and local authorities. Having initially qualified in Early Years and Key Stage 1 (ages 3-7) I then spent 8 years working in Key Stage 2 (8-11) before returning to teach younger children in 2019. I am well versed in both KS1 and KS2 SATs, and the newer Phonics Assessment for Year 1 and some Year 2 children. I have been tutoring online for 12 months, working regularly with several international students and some pupils in the UK.
I have been lucky to have taught children from a wide range of backgrounds, each with their very own individual strengths, needs, quirks and dreams, and I am proud to say that I have adapted to each of them individually to help them achieve.
Early in my career I was introduced to the ‘Mantle of The Expert’ approach to teaching. This approach champions the child and their knowledge and extends their learning from a place of experience and expertise. It seemed at the time, the perfect way to teach and I am yet to be proved any different. With such an approach, children are given the confidence to flourish and make great steps in their learning.
I offer a free 45 minute family consultation and follow-up with a curriculum plan, tailored perfectly to your child. For your convenience, I provide monthly payment plans for termly bookings and if you're not satisfied after your first lesson, I offer a complete no-quibbles refund.
I welcome enquiries through chat, email and phone and aim to respond within 24 hours your questions.

How It Works
Individual Tuition
Formative assessment is critical in supporting your child to be their best, and that's why I start your tutoring journey with a free 45 minute family consultation to get to know your child, their dreams, struggles and interests. Within a week, I will create a curriculum plan tailored perfectly for your child and be ready to start our learning journey.
Tuition times and frequency of lessons can be easily arranged around your family needs. All I ask is for two week's payments in advance of lessons. For termly bookings, I offer regular payment plans and I'm happy to be flexible around school and family holidays.
Booking a tutor can be a big expense and worry, so for your peace of mind I offer a no-quibbles full refund if you are not satisfied after your first lesson.
Group Tuition
You may wish to consider small group tuition for your child. I offer regular weekly sessions at set times, available as a one-off purchase or as a plan. Each session is age related and work will be differentiated for your child's needs.
The booking process is simple. Choose your session and complete your contact details. As soon as you complete the booking process, you will be sent a Zoom link and confirmation of your child's tuition. All you will need to do is make sure that your child is online at the right time with a pencil, paper and lots of enthusiasm.
